Haithabu - Racing Tires 15" Normal

The PU tires from Haithabu Slotracing impress with an unprecedented manufacturing quality.
The high-performance tires are available in three standard hardness levels, "hard", "normal" and "soft" in pairs, giving the driver the opportunity to have an answer to every grip level.
Due to the high demand for other hardness levels, we now also offer the hardnesses "medium-soft" and "super-soft".
These are offered as a special order in packs of 10, i.e. 10 pairs. The special hardnesses are delivered without any labeling on the tread!
Otherwise, the standard hardnesses (hard, medium and soft) are labeled on the tread with size, inner diameter, outer diameter, width and hardness upon delivery.
Not all tire diameters can be ordered in all hardnesses. We only supply the sizes 15" HC, 17" HC and 19" in "normal" hardness.

The rim must be thoroughly degreased before gluing with Haithabu tire glue. I personally go over the rim once with a 180 grit sandpaper and then degrease it with brake cleaner.
Do not clean the tire, the powder acts as a binding agent for the glue. If there is no glue aid available, simply push the tire onto the rim.
First insert an axle into the rim, then lift the sidewall of the tire with your thumb and apply the tire adhesive between the tire and the rim using a scalpel.

Repeat the process all the way around and on the other side.
Don’t forget your gloves!
